2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

The sun on your face, the wind blowing through your hair…who doesn’t love a convertible?  Chevrolet has announced that they will offer a convertible model of the all-new, completely redesigned 2016 Chevrolet Camaro.

This Camaro convertible will feature a unique top, with advanced technology.  It is the only convertible in its segment to offer:

  • Fully automatic operation with latches that automatically release and secure the top
  • Capability of opening or closing at speeds up to 48 km/h (30 mph)
  • Remote opening with the key fob
  • A hard tonneau cover that deploys automatically, providing a more refined, finished appearance when the top is lowered and stowed.

The electro-hydraulic power roof system features multilayer construction – including acoustic and thermal barriers – designed for a comfortable, quiet driving experience in all seasons. The top emulates the sleek silhouette of the Camaro coupe.

“The 2016 Camaro coupe will set the benchmark for the segment in terms of technology, performance, and design,” said Shane Peever, Chevrolet brand manager for Canada. “Adding the most sophisticated top in the segment brings another level of refinement, and driving enjoyment, to the Camaro convertible.”

2015 Pan Am Cruze At Queenston

Today at Queenston, we got the opportunity to see the 2015 Chevrolet Pan Am Cruze!  20150624_150749As we enter the final countdown to the games, there is a lot of excitement not only here at our dealerships, but throughout Hamilton and surrounding areas.  The 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games will run from July 10-26, and host a total of 36 sports. The Parapan Am Games (August 7-15) will host 15 sports, all of which are being held from Oshawa to Welland.

As a premier partner for the games, Chevrolet wants to help transport officials, organizers, dignitaries, and athletes in style as they get from point A to B.  From now until the end of the games, there will be a total of 1200 Chevrolet vehicles on the road.  Make sure to keep an eye out for one of these dressed up vehicles! New Athleticism for the 2016 Camaro?

There will be a leaner, more athletic design for the 2016 Camaro, which will be introduced on May 16, during a special public event in Detroit. There are several new additions to the design of the Camaro including an aluminum hood with a sculpted look that appears as though it is “form-fitted” around the mechanical components. The outcome? The hood looks as though it has been shrink-wrapped around the engine. The modifications make the Camaro look lower and wider when in reality; it’s smaller than its predecessor.

2016 Bolt EV Concept

Debuting at the Detroit International Auto Show, the 2016 Chevrolet Bolt EV Concept caused quite a stir! With an estimated range of more than 300 kilometres, the Bolt represents Chevrolet’s vision for an affordable, global EV solution. And don’t you just love the name – the Bolt sounds fun to drive!

bolt1Every aspect of the innovative and uncompromising design, from the body’s unique silhouette to the lightweight materials used both inside and out, is designed to push the envelope both technologically and aesthetically. For the interior, Chevrolet revised their signature dual-cockpit design, incorporating easy-to-use technology with minimal design to create a more enjoyable driving experience.

An advanced lithium-ion battery provides over 300 kilometres of all-electric range, and with DC fast-charging capability, an 80 percent charge can be achieved in less than 45 minutes. The Chevrolet Bolt EV is also equipped with lightweight aluminum wheels featuring clear inserts between the spokes, giving the wheels a unique look while maximizing efficiency by reducing drag.
