Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype

The Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype is set to make its North American debut on March 22, in advance of the 2016 New York International Auto Show.  This highly anticipated prototype showcases the aggressive styling of the 2017 Civic Hatchback, which is launching later this year.  This will be the third new variant of what is considered the sportiest Civic lineup ever, whose options include the 2016 Sedan and Coupe, as well as the upcoming Civic Si and radical Civic Type R.

The Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype’s looks are sporty and aggressive, with a major influence from European hatch styling.  It features Honda Turbo engine technology, the handy utility of a hatchback, and an impressive lineup of premium features and class-leading safety technology.

With the production model launching late in 2016, everyone in Civic Nation will be anxiously awaiting the return of an icon – the Civic Hatchback.

It’s always sad to see summer come to an end, but with its end comes the start of a new season.  As families say goodbye to summer road trips and days at the beach, it’s back to school time for many.

With carpooling, after school activities, sports and the like, families will be spending a considerable amount of time in their vehicles.  In fact, an online poll taken by CarGurus.com showed that a third spend more than an hour in their car on any given day. Needless to say, comfort and dependability are important features.

2016 Honda Accord Reveal

Today in California, Honda introduced the 2016 Honda Accord, which received a major overhaul in appearance. The new, sportier and more sophisticated Accord will be the first Honda model to feature both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Without a doubt, this will be the “highest-tech Accord ever.” Additional changes will include new styling, new display audio touchscreen interface, Honda Sensing (set of comprehensive safety and driver-assistive technologies), front and rear parking sensors, wireless charging and numerous other standard and available features that we are told will be revealed over the next several weeks.

0B3C8700The exterior changes include a new aluminum hood with a more aggressive front grille, while the back of the Accord sports restyled LED headlights and a redesigned bumper.
If the Accord Sport and Touring trims are something you are interested in, you can also expect new, larger 19-inch wheels and tires along with a new rear deck spoiler.

2016 Chevrolet Malibu Redesign

2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

The sun on your face, the wind blowing through your hair…who doesn’t love a convertible?  Chevrolet has announced that they will offer a convertible model of the all-new, completely redesigned 2016 Chevrolet Camaro.

This Camaro convertible will feature a unique top, with advanced technology.  It is the only convertible in its segment to offer:

  • Fully automatic operation with latches that automatically release and secure the top
  • Capability of opening or closing at speeds up to 48 km/h (30 mph)
  • Remote opening with the key fob
  • A hard tonneau cover that deploys automatically, providing a more refined, finished appearance when the top is lowered and stowed.

The electro-hydraulic power roof system features multilayer construction – including acoustic and thermal barriers – designed for a comfortable, quiet driving experience in all seasons. The top emulates the sleek silhouette of the Camaro coupe.
