When we hear someone say “all-new” at the dealership, there are several things that come to mind. New technology, advanced safety features, shiny exterior and connectivity are just to name a few. On April 1st, when Chevy introduced the 2016 Malibu, the word “all-new” took on a whole new meaning.

Longer and lighter, with more interior space than ever before, the 2016 Malibu boasts an impressive line-up of features. Its improved fuel economy offers an estimated 4.9L/100km city, 5.2L/100km highway driving. As a new hybrid sedan, the re-designed Malibu will certainly give our competitors a run for their money.

  • All-new Teen Driver feature – this will allow you to view your child’s driving habits, speed, warning alerts and so much more.
  • New power-dense Ecotec 1.5L turbo engine with fuel-saving stop/start technology (standard feature)
  • Chevrolet MyLink with an 7 inch touch screen is standard on LS, LT and Hybrid models
  • Chevrolet MyLink with an 8 inch touch screen is available on LT and Hybrid Models and standard on Premier model
  • Chevrolet MyLink with navigation is available with 8 inch MyLink system and features three dimensional maps.
  • OnStar 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot is standard on all models (includes 3 month/3GB data trial – whichever comes first)

The styling on the all-new Malibu is similar in many ways to the 2014 Impala. It’s sleek, elongated and shows off the dual-port grille. Contemporary lighting is a strong characteristic and includes light-emitting diode (LED daytime running lamps available on LT and Premier Models). The Malibu Premier also includes LED taillamps. With so much to offer, there is no doubt you will want to take this vehicle for a test-drive when it hits our showroom floor in the late fall of this year.

Get Behind The Wheel And Donate to The Walk to Fight Arthritis

Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC will be holding our “Drive for a Cause” event on May 10th and 11th, 2013 at our Queenston on the Mountain dealership.  This event will provide individuals the opportunity to support a great cause and test drive one of our exciting 2013 and 2014 Chevrolet, Buick or GMC vehicles.  These vehicles include: the re-designed Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Malibu, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia, as well as, the new Chevrolet Trax and Buick Encore.

For each test drive taken during the two day event, Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC will donate $25 to The Arthritis Society on behalf of that individual. The dealership’s goal for this event is to donate $4,500.Small Logo

Isaac Mizrahi’s “Malibu Collection”

When you hear fashion design and cars, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Most of us might have trouble drawing a connection between the two, but for designer Isaac Mizrahi it was “Inspiration”!  Moved by the all-new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, Mizrahi has created a limited edition clothing and accessory line aptly named “The Malibu Collection”. 

Appealing to the modern day woman, Mizrahi and Chevrolet feel that the 2013 Malibu is the perfect fit for “smart, fabulous women”, and that it gives a “new approach to everyday style!”  Mizrahi describes the Malibu as a vehicle with a “soft touch, chic and elegant streamlines, similar to those in fashion.”  He was also quoted saying “one of the things I was inspired by was a blue light that emanates from the dashboard, it’s just sexy” and that the Camaro inspired “tail lights look like little jewels.”

To promote this unique and advantageous relationship, Chevrolet has created an interactive Facebook page.  One of the more interesting features of this page is the Polyvor mini editor styling tool.  It allows you, the consumer, to create your own Malibu inspired mood board, which can be shared with your friends.  Chevrolet has also created a series containing 50 videos, featuring Mizrahi and his muses, as he ventures across the United States in his new Malibu.  Along the way he stops in 4 major cities: New York, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles.  Below are two of the videos that have been released thus far.
